SPIRITUALITY
5 DIFFERENT WAYS TO CONNECT TO YOUR HIGHER SELF
1. Prayer — you talking to the God of your understanding. It is You as your Higher power.
2. Connecting with Nature — this may be your spiritual practice. Staying grounded with the earth and with all those around you.
3. Yoga — an ancient philosophical practice dating back thousands of years that includes ethical guidelines, physical body movements, breathing exercises, withdrawing from sensory organs, concentration practices, and meditation teachings.
4. Attending a spiritual or religious service — some appreciate the structure of a religious service whether it be a mosque, a church, a synagogue, or another place to find your Peace
5. Meditation — whereas prayer is us talking to God, meditation is listening! It requires but a moment of silence to realize true Peace.

What is the difference between Spirituality and Religion?
Let us begin with Spirituality. Simply put, spirituality has no rules but guidelines.
Religions are based on fundamental texts, doctrines, pre-established beliefs, practises, rituals, and dogmas.
Whereas most religions follow an ideology, Spiritual practises encourage you to follow your heart and your intuition as you align yourself with what brings you peace. It releases the ego and sets our spirit free.
Spirituality is based on Love not Fear
Most religions are based on fear. Fear is associated with guilt. Guilt always brings forth anger. Anger leads to attacks. Attack leads to defensiveness, which leads to further attack, all of which is based on guilt and fear. The unholy relationship of sin, guilt, and fear continues indefinitely in the name of doing God's work. It's all rather silly.
Any decision made out of fear hinders our spirit. Decisions made with love empower our spirits.
Religion Separates and Spirituality Unites
In our world, there are many religions that teach the righteousness of their stories. These teachings become theology. There are many theologies, but only one experience.
Spirituality brings forth the experience. Fully developed, we begin to see the truth in everything, as we see with our vision, not our physical eyes. As we learn to look upon everyone as the same as us (not as humans but as spiritual beings), we begin to teach others that everyone is a divine child of God.

Emoto found that water's molecular structure reacts differently to a wide range of frequencies and words. Human bodies can have 55% to 80% water, depending on the person's size. Our bodies react quite similarly to sounds, words, and frequencies.

Emotional Healing can be improved by:
Letting go: For most people, letting go of anger, trauma, and hate can be extremely difficult. These feelings can drive a nail into the inner peace that is natural to your being. It can manifest into destructive behaviors such as addictions and compulsions and affect the body in a serious way if not addressed properly.
Letting go means looking into oneself to heal the events or stressors by facing them head-on through forgiveness, self-love, self-care practices, solitude, and introspection. They are key components in addressing your emotional trauma. You may also seek help from a shaman or a psychotherapist who can help direct your healing process.
Mental Healing can be improved by:
Meditation: This modality is often used in conjunction with emotional healing models. Meditation is a mind-body type of medicine. It trains your mind to be more attentive and aware. This can place your focus on areas in your body or mind that need healing. Meditation can wipe away the day's stress, bringing with it inner peace. You can easily learn to practise meditation whenever you need it most.
Spiritual Healing can be improved by:
Through all the methods mentioned above, spiritual healing brings balance back to the Mind, Body, and Soul.
Conscience breathing, along with silent meditation, can clear the mind and regulate the body, which makes you feel renewed, energized, and relaxed.
Holistic Healing is the healing of the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Holistic healing works as we approach all aspects of being: the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. The healing begins at all levels and is more effective than western medicine because western medicine does not find the root cause of the illness. Holistic healing begins at the core levels of the inner and outer physical, mental, and emotional planes.
