WHY HEMP?
1. One hectare of hemp produces as much oxygen as 25 hectares of forest land. One hectare of hemp can produce as much paper as four hectares of wood. Hemp can be made into paper eight times; wood can be made into paper three times.
2. Hemp grows in 4 months, the tree in 20–50 years.
3. Hemp cleanses radiation in the soil and air.
4. Hemp can be grown anywhere in the world and requires very little water. Hemp is able to defend itself against insects without pesticides. If hemp textiles become widespread, the pesticide industry could disappear completely. Hemp makes better ropes, cords, bags, shoes, and hats.
5. Cannabis and hemp can treat 250 diseases such as rheumatism, heart disease, epilepsy, asthma, stomach problems, insomnia, mental illness, spinal diseases, AIDS, cancer, viruses, and bacteria.
6. Hemp is a superfood— the protein value of hemp seeds is very high, and the two fatty acids in it are not found anywhere else in nature.
7. Hemp costs less to produce than GMO soybeans.
8. Animals fed cannabis do not need hormone replacement. The animals also produce healthier, more nutritious animal food products.
9. All plastic products can be made from hemp, and hemp plastic is biodegradable.
10. Vehicles can be made from hemp, which is 10 times stronger than steel.
11. Hemp can be used in the construction of buildings and homes (hempcrete). It can also insulate buildings; it is more durable, less costly, and more flexible than steel.
12. Soaps and cosmetics made with hemp do not contaminate water, have more health benefits, and contain zero toxic chemicals.
